For the past five years on my birthday I’ve received a mix cd from my friend Becky. Every year she adds one rockabilly track, I’ve always enjoyed them and as a result have spent some time tracking down more 1950’s rockabilly tunes. I love the sense of abandon, the feeling that it was all new and exciting and that it sounds like they were all having a hell of a lot of fun.The end result is this mix for Yewknee’s Summer Mix Series.
